How much will it cost to remove one tree?
Every tree removal is different. Some can be cut down from the ground, while others require extensive removal of limbs and sections by a climber. The type of equipment used, the number of crew members required, the amount of cleanup and the total time required to do the job completely and safely all impact the cost of a tree felling job.

Can you give me a quote if I send you pictures of the tree(s) I want removed?

Unfortunately, no.

Our experience has been that pictures, even good ones, do not give us enough information to accurately quote a job. The size of the tree, proximity to nearby structures or other trees, are not adequately captured in photographs.

Will you cut up and remove the tree after it is down?

Yes. That's our standard service.

Some homeowners may want the tree for firewood or other uses. We'll do our best to accomodate your specific wishes. Just be sure to tell us what you want during our estimate visit.

What is underbrushing?

Underbrushing refers to the practice of removing or clearing the vegetation, such as shrubs, small trees, and other low-lying plants, from the understory of a forest or wooded area. The purpose of underbrushing is often to manage the vegetation and improve the health and growth of desirable trees or to create a more open and accessible forest floor.

Underbrushing improves the accessibility and beauty of wooded areas and allows you to enjoy both the space and the view.

What is an ISA Certified Arborist?

An ISA Certified Arborist is a professional who has been certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) after meeting specific requirements and demonstrating a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of arboriculture. Arboriculture is the cultivation and management of trees, shrubs, and other woody plants.

To become an ISA Certified Arborist, individuals typically need to meet certain eligibility requirements, which may include a combination of education and work experience in arboriculture. Once eligible, candidates must pass a comprehensive examination that covers various aspects of tree care, including tree biology, pruning, tree identification, tree risk assessment, and more.

Certification through the ISA is a way for arborists to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism and ongoing education in the field. It is also a recognized credential that can enhance an arborist's credibility and marketability in the industry. ISA Certified Arborists are often sought after for their expertise in tree care and management, whether in urban environments, parks, or natural landscapes.
